How do I sign up for a class?

Do you have pottery for sale at the studio?

Yes, we have a gallery set up for the public.  The gallery features handmade pottery and ceramic art made by local artists. If you are a local artist and would like to sell your work with us, please contact us at info@muddypantspottery.com Include a few pictures of your work.

You can also find us at local markets/events like the Blueberry Festival and Nacogdoches Arts Collaborative Markets and holiday events on the Downtown Square. Check out the markets page for the next upcoming event.

Question 4

How old does my child have to be to work on the pottery wheel?

We have a Getting Muddy: For Kids and Families that children of all ages can participate in. Any child under 8 years old will share a wheel with an adult. Kids 9-17 can work on their own wheel.

Kids 14 and older can join any Getting Muddy: Date Night and Small Group class or any regular wheel throw class. Child must be at least be turning 14 in the month the class begins. NO exceptions.

Sometimes we offer a kids wheel throw class for kids 9-17 years old. Check the wheel throw classes tab to see if there is a session coming up.

Question 5

Do I have to schedule a session to do the Get Your Glaze On or Create With Clay classes?

No, we accept walk-ins for both Create With Clay and Get Your Glaze On sessions. It is first come, first serve basis. Scheduling your session is recommended for groups larger than 4 people.

Question 6

When will my pottery be fired and ready for pick-up?

Accepted Answer

It usually takes 1-3 weeks to get all pottery through the drying and firing process. You will be notified via text when your piece(s) are ready.

The pottery ready for pick-up will be placed in a bag with your name on it or your group's name and placed on the south porch. You can come anytime to pick it up. You do not have to wait until open hours.
