School Groups—Project Specific Hand-build Session

Service Description

This is a great activity for school groups. Contact the studio to schedule your group. 936-800-8587 Participants must be a school group to qualify for this class session. Minimum of 20 participants . Home school groups welcome but minimum still applies. Students must be between 8 and 18 years old. We do not recommend this activity for younger students. What to expect: Instruction will be given to your group to create a specific project determined at the time of booking. Clay, tools, bisque and glaze firing is included. A coupon will be included with each bisque-fired piece for a free one-hour glaze session to be scheduled by the student at their convenience. Suggested session length, 1.5-2 hours, dependent upon project chosen. Please allow at least 2 weeks after your create session to ensure enough time for the drying and first firing. **Each participant must be able to work independently. Pinch, coil (snakes) and/or slab rolling can be used to make your fun creations. Group size is limited to 30 participants. For larger groups please schedule multiple sessions. Please note: The registration system will only allow you to book up to the number of AVAILABLE seats. If you can't add more participants, the class maximum has been reached. You will need to look at other time slots with more availability. Space is limited. **Age appropriateness: Children mist be between 8 and 18 years old. All groups must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. We recommend having at least 1 adult helper for every 5 kids ages 8-11. You will be contacted when your piece is fired and ready for pick-up. Students can schedule a glaze session at that time. All materials are provided. Wear clothing that can get messy.
