This class is held every Tuesday at the Fairview Museum. (No class on any 5th Tuesday) This class is designed for ages 9 years and older. No specific project or instructions will be given. Basic understanding of how to create with clay is needed. If you need instruction, please sign up for the Kid's Pottery Camp or the Adult Hand-building classes. If you have a project in mind and just need access to tools and firing, if you need advice or tips on how to create a certain project, if you want to come with your friends and play with some clay while you hang out, this is the class for you! Pay for one week or many, it is up to you. We recommend at least one glaze session for every 1-2 create sessions. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Tuesdays: Pinch, coil or slab pieces needed to create your project(s). 2 lbs of clay included each week. Additional clay can be purchase for $5 per pound. 4th Tuesday: Use small and large brushes to paint glaze color and details onto your project(s) to give them their final look. All pieces will be clear coated and fired, ready for pick-up about 2 weeks after most current glaze class. **Each participant must be able to work independently. We will be pinching, coiling and/or slab rolling to make your fun creations. Class size is 10 participants. Please note: The registration system will only allow you to book up to the number of AVAILABLE seats. If you can't add more participants, the class maximum has been reached. You will need to look at other dates with more availability. Space is limited. All work will be ready to pick up at Cindy's studio (385 N 200 W, Fairview) in about 2 weeks. Arrangements can be made with a fee to have them shipped to you if you are not local. All materials are provided. Wear clothing that can get messy.
