3-Week Tiny Pottery Wheel Workshop

Service Description

This is a great workshop for kids and adults. We do require kids to be at least 8 to participate and they need to be able to work independently and follow instructions. Younger kids can sign up with a parent in our walk-in, self-guided sessions. Thursdays 6:30-8:00 PM March 19, 26, April 2 $75 per person Week One: Get familiar with the tiny wheels. Learn to center your clay and make cylinders and bowls. Week Two: Learn to make narrow neck vases and add handles to your tiny treasures. Week Three: Glaze week! Start with your favorite pieces and add glazes both using the pottery wheel and not. Glaze as many as you can during class. You can schedule a$10 glaze session to finish anything you don't complete in class. IMPORTANT NOTES: -Wear clothing that can get messy. We recommend you wear and apron and bring a hand towel or rag each week for hands. -Up to 2 pounds of clay included per week, all tools, glazes and firings included. -You'll have a place to store your work from week to week. -All your pieces will be fired and ready for pick-up in about 2 weeks. -Each participant must be able to work independently. -No kids under 8 years old please. Group size is limited to 6 participants. Please note: The registration system will only allow you to book up to the number of AVAILABLE seats. If you can't add more participants, the class maximum has been reached. You will need to look at other time slots with more availability.
