Handmade, stoneware garlic graters. A garlic grater is a small plate with bumps carved into the bottom. When you rub a clove of garlic over the bumps, the bumps grate the garlic. You can use it when you need minced garlic for a recipe, or you can simply add olive oil and vinegar to the garlic right on the plate and use it as a dipping tray for bread. The garlic grater may also be used to grate other things as well, including lemon zest, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, or even chocolate and hard cheeses.
